I swapped the bearing as well so that the old front had the new bearing from the rebuilt one-wire alternator. Here is the old bearing:

The trick is to drive it through with a socket:

Don't bang it up with a hammer when you reinstall. Use something big and flat and somewhat gentle... like a 4X4 with some thick paper rags to press it back in:

Maybe you have the proper tools here... I don't. I'm not pressing pins into pistons here, just a bearing on an alternator!
