The turn signal was missing left turns at times. Repeated wiggling would make it work, but it isn't super-fabulous. I figured it at least needed to be cleaned and get an application of WD-40 on the contacts. We'll see how that goes. To get at the switch you need to remove the steering wheel. A nine dollar puller worked just fine:

The pin in the shifter handle needs to be removed before you can slide out the yoke:
