Rust Treatment for the Rear Bumper
The back of the license plate was full of dirt and it took awhile to scrape down to the rust:
This is the bottom of the bumper, below the license plate, right after brushing it with some Picklex 20 rust treatment:
To protect the bumper, I painted it with Eastwood Co.'s Chassis Black:
I painted the bumper, and intend to paint the rest of the truck the same color as my old 55 GMC, primer gray:
I picked up the paint for $1.59 per can from McClendon Hardware.
This should protect the bumper for the rest of the truck's life.
