Here are some pictures of the right front suspension:

There is a huge puddle of old grease on top of the upper control arm:

Here is the spring between the upper and lower control arms. It turns out, that removing these springs is as easy as putting the frame up on jackstands and compressing the spring by using a floor jack underneath the lower control arm:

A lot of the truck has this layer of flakey rust on it. The rust doesn't go very deep:

This could certainly use some Eastwood's Chassis Black and some Picklex 20, as well as the frame, to keep the metal happy for years to come, but the damage from sitting out for a few years isn't that bad, even on the bottom of the lower control arm:
